Brazilian TV Crew in Croatia

CroatiaOver 1 billion people are set to tune in to watch Croatia open this year’s FIFA World Cup with Brazil on Thursday, a fantastic opportunity for exposure for such a small nation. Croatia as a tourist destination will get some extra exposure thanks to a travel documentary that will be shown on prime time Brazilian television….

Brazil’s Record TV, who arrived in Croatia on Sunday, will film a series of reports from around Croatia during their 10-day visit which will aired on prime time television in the show Jornal da record. Interest in Croatia as a destination has grown among Brazilian tourists, with 76% more arrivals in 2013 compared with the previous year. The first half of the 2014 has also been a busy one, and last year’s record looks set to be broken this year.

Jornal da record, which gets around 62 million viewers, will showcase some of Croatia’s stunning tourist destinations, with the film crew visiting Zagreb, Plitvice lakes, Zadar, Šibenik, Trogir, Split, Ston, Dubrovnik, Pula, Brijuni National Park, Rovinj, Vukovar and Ilok, said the Croatian Tourist Board.
