Big Crowds Turn Out on Opening Weekend at Croatia’s Biggest Beer Festival

Big crowds have turned out on the opening weekend of the 32nd Dani Piva, Croatia’s biggest beer festival, in Karlovac. 

Over 120,000 people are expected to attend the festival which will end next weekend on 9 September 2018.  

Over 40 different beers from a variety of breweries, food, entertainment for the kids, and evening concerts by some of Croatia’s popular musicians are the highlights of the festival which is held at the Korana Sports Centre in Karlovac. 

The week-long concerts were kicked off on Friday night with a performance from Maja Šuput, whilst Mladen Grdović entertained the crowd on Saturday night.

Thursday – 06.09 – Željko Bebek

Friday 07.09 – Jole

Sunday 09.09 – Tamburaška Noć
