Best of Croatian tourism awarded in Vinkovci

The Croatian Tourism Days has been taking place in five Slavonian counties this week. 

This is the first time the annual conference of tourism professionals is being held in the country’s interior with Vukovar, Vinkovci and Osijek as the host towns. 

During Croatian Tourism Days, tourist workers and local officials will visit Kutjevo, Slavonski Brod, Pozega, Osijek, Vukovar and Vinkovci. 

The first part of the Croatian tourism awards were held in Vinkovci with the awards handed out in a number of categories. Below are the award winners.

Innovation of the Year – Interpretation Centre of Lošinj’s Maritime Heritage ‘Nerezinac’

Best Rural Tourism Destination – Baranja

Best Destination for Culture & Gastronomy – Opatija Riviera 


Best Nautical Tourist Destination – Zadar

Best Health Tourism Destination – Mali Lošinj

Best Authentic Coastal Destination – Cavtat

Best Summer Leisure Destination Destination – Rovinj
