Beautiful gestures have incredible power. Have a cup of coffee on May 17th at one of the hospitality venues throughout Croatia that are part of the large chain initiative of gratitude, and receive a gift voucher for a free cup of Julius Meinl coffee to thank your loved ones.

Zagreb, May 16th, 2022 – Most people spend more time with their colleagues at work than with their own family and friends during an average week. The results of a global study conducted by Julius Meinl on 4,000 adults across Europe indicate that two out of three people agree that the word “thank you” is not used enough in the workplace.

Over 81% of respondents agreed that receiving thanks from their superiors had a positive impact on their day, and three-fifths said it made them feel more appreciated. The same applies to relationships among colleagues. In fact, 55% of respondents believe that inviting a colleague for a coffee break and a pleasant conversation is a nice way to express gratitude.

Following the highly successful gratitude initiative from last year, Julius Meinl has once again launched the #SayThankYou or “Recite hvala” initiative, which will inspire thousands of people across Europe, including Croatia, this spring.

Everyone who orders premium Julius Meinl coffee at more than 230 locations throughout Croatia on May 17th will receive a gift voucher for a free coffee that they can give to someone important in their life – a colleague, friend, family member, acquaintance – and symbolically thank them.

The list of participating hospitality venues can be found on an interactive map, and the gift voucher can be redeemed until May 31st.

The magical word: “thank you”/ “hvala”.
