180 Minutes Separate Dinamo Zagreb From 5th UEFA Champions League Appearance

Croatian football champions Dinamo Zagreb are just 180 minutes away from qualifying for their 5th UEFA Champions League group stage appearance after thrashing Moldovan side FC Sheriff 3:0 (4:0 aggregate) last night.

Coach Krunoslav Jurcic was a happy man after last night’s victory in Moldova, but says there are no easy sides in the draw for the play-off to qualify for the Champions League.

“We showed we were the better side, we move forward and of course it is a great satisfaction. All five possibilities (in the draw) are quality sides,” said Jurcic.

The draw for the last round of qualifying will be held in Nyon on Friday, with Dinamo Zagreb seeded. Matches are scheduled for 20-21 August (1st leg) and 27-28 August (2nd leg).
