Former Croatian Football International Buys Famous Zagreb Bar

Former Croatian football international and member of the famous bronze medal winning side at the World Cup in France 1998 Zvonimir Soldo, has gone into the bar business.

Soldo, who spent a decade playing for German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart, has purchased the well-known bar Bulldog Club, located in the heart of downtown Zagreb in Croatia’s capital, writes Tportal.

Soldo has purchased the Cafeco company, which operates Bulldog, from renowned Zagreb bar owner Albert Papo. Soldo retired from international football in 2002 and then moved into management, recently managing Bundesliga side 1. FC Koln. He was capped 61 times for Croatia.
