4th Croatian World Games Announced

The venue and date for the 4th Croatian World Games has been announced…

The 4th Croatian World Games will be held next year in the Croatian capital Zagreb, with more than 800 Croatians from more than 35 nations around the globe expected to take part.

Croats from all over the world, including those in Croatia, are invited take part in the Croatian World Games, which will be held from 18-22 July 2017 in Zagreb, and will include sports such as athletics, bowls, judo, karate, basketball, football, indoor soccer, volleyball, beach volleyball, swimming, rugby, handball, tennis, table tennis, taekwondo and waterpolo. Although it is not mandatory that athletes belong to an official sports or cultural organisation, they must be over 16 years of age and have Croatian ancestry.

The Croatian World Games, which have previously been held in 2006, 2010 and 2014, are organised by the Croatian World Congress, an association which connects organisations and institutions from and Croatia and Croats living abroad.
