Students and professors of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management are starting the new academic year on a new campus. On this new modernly equipped campus, besides administrative and teacher’s offices, there are interactive classrooms, rooms for multimedia meetings, and a living room for students.
The new facilities are located in Vukasovićeva street 1, in the buildings of the campus of the Catholic University of Croatia. It has a modernly equipped auditorium and a spacious parking lot. ZSEM will also enable its students to follow lectures online from well-equipped IT classrooms.
“The new campus in the new university-scientific heart of the city is another step towards raising the quality of our teaching and student life,” said Dean Dr. Đuro Njavro on the occasion of the school’s relocation.
The Zagreb School of Economics and Management has been ranked by EdUniversal, the European university ranking company, as the best business school in Croatia with significant international influence. It awarded ZSEM with 4 Palms of Excellence. In 2019, ZSEM was reaccredited by the American prestigious AACSB accreditation.
This semester, despite COVID-19, 78 international students decided to study at ZSEM. Nine students are taking classes exclusively online via Zoom, Loom, and Loomen, the school’s e-learning platform. The rest of the students are taking classes in a hybrid form. What international students really like about ZSEM and why they keep coming back is the friendly atmosphere, good relationships between professors, staff and students, active learning in the classroom, and attained practical skills and knowledge.
“Coming to ZSEM gave me a unique learning experience that I would not have received anywhere else. The administration, the teachers, and my classmates provided me with an unforgettable experience. I would absolutely recommend ZSEM to everyone!” – Deepa Raveendrabose (Canada).
“Before coming to ZSEM I knew nothing about Croatia and had no idea what to expect. I fell in love with the country and the culture while receiving a world-class education in Europe’s hidden gem. Zagreb will always have a place in my heart. Thanks to the staff & students who made it memorable. Hvala, mate!” – Mark Rabjohns (Australia).
