According to the global survey of passengers on the level of satisfaction with services by ACI ASQ World, Zagreb Airport has earned the 2022 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for:

Best Airport of 2 to 5 million Passengers in Europe

Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in Europe

Easiest Airport Journey in Europe

ZAGREB, March 6, 2023 – Passengers and users of Zagreb Airport services have once again awarded the airport through a regular ACI/ASQ (Airports Council International/Airport Service Quality).  According to this relevant survey, which is conducted throughout the year by certified interviewers, interviewing airport passengers using a unique ACI/ASQ questionnaire, Zagreb Airport has earned award for:  Best airport of 2 to 5 million passengers in Europe, Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in Europe and for the Easiest Airport Journey.

This significant recognition comes as a result of survey into the quality of services conducted in 2022. The summer months of 2022 will be noted for the extremely large crowds at airports throughout Europe and the world, therefore recognition for the dedication of the staff and the easy experience of traveling through the passenger terminal of Zagreb Airport is even more significant and greater.

We are extremely proud of the fact that in 2022 Zagreb Airport have been again recognized and rewarded as the Best Airport in Europe within the group of 2 to 5 million passengers for the service quality. 

We are especially happy that passengers recognized the dedication of our staff in their efforts to provide the best possible service and ensure a pleasant travel experience through Zagreb Airport passenger terminal.

The summer flight schedule is soon to begin, which marks the start of the application of the Schengen travel regime at airports in Republic of Croatia. We believe that this change will improve the variety of commercial offerings, and thus to an even better travel experience for many of our passengers”. – said Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, CEO of the International Zagreb Airport Jsc.

On Monday, March 6, 2023, ACI announced the winners of the ASQ Awards for the quality of airport services. The ACI/ASQ program recognizes airports around the world which, in the passengers’ opinion, provide the best airport services and travel experience. Zagreb Airport has been awarded according to the ACI/ASQ survey as follows:

  • 2018 Best Airport in Europe by Size and Region (2-5 million passengers)

  • 2020 Best Airport in Europe by Size and Region (2-5 million passengers)
