Discover new tastes, enjoy carefully designed interiors with your loved ones, and indulge in fine wine or signature cocktails at Bistro Le Kolač in Park Kneževa.

With its new concept of casual comfort food, Le Kolač has set the bar high for success and quality. Robert Hromalić, the mastermind behind this idea, designed the bistro to take you back to the roots. For 15 years, Robert has been preparing real gourmet masterpieces with great heart and passion, adding a touch of magic that is felt as soon as you enter the attractive space at Branimirova 43.

Arhikultura did a masterful job with the interior design which is complemented by a large outdoor terrace located in a pleasant shade, next to a children’s park, welcoming visitors with little legs and pets. Bistro Le Kolač will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 am to 11 pm, and serves seven types of handmade/artisan cakes, four different breakfasts, and ten savoury dishes creatively combined with ingredients, making them true gourmet artistic creations. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available.

The space itself is designed as a community zone with comfortable armchairs and two-seaters, allowing guests to watch the preparation of their delicacies.

In addition to 28 seats inside, another 78 people can enjoy the offer on the large terrace. The way of choosing the desired food is particularly interesting, as it is not in display cases but on floating plates so that visitors can fully experience a certain dish or dessert.

This highlights the meticulously designed design of the cake, which fits into Hromalić’s vision of modern gastronomy.

“We want guests to consume everything they are familiar with in a more modern version, share food with each other and feel relaxed surrounded by loved ones, Robert Hromalić pointed out.

The menu changes monthly, but the most popular and best-selling dishes remain on the menu for several months. Indecisive sweet-tooths and those who like to share food will find bite-size cakes perfect to try several types or share them with friends, as sharing is caring.

At breakfast, you can start your day with a croissant sandwich, chia porridge with fruit salad and proteins, breaded tramezzino or avocado sourdough bread with soft-boiled eggs.

At brunch or lunch, you will surely like savoury dishes such as goose and chicken liver pâté and toasted asparagus with salmon and cottage cheese, while the salad with pistachio, chicken and stracciatella cheese already has its fans.

The Pizzaiolo sandwich and the flatbread with a variety of breadcrumbs and spreads are some other novelties, the popularity of which depends on whether they remain or are removed from the menu.
