Successful Croatian company Rimac Automobili, which develops and produces electric sports cars, drivetrains, and battery systems, has grown into an 850-person strong company since starting over a decade ago.

“Croatia is one of the most unlikely places to build a company like this and we had lots of hard times asking ourselves was this the right decision. We had many offers to move the company elsewhere, luring us with investment, but I always wanted to prove it was possible to build this company here. One of the reasons was selfish because I wanted to live here because it is a beautiful country,” CEO Mate Rimac said in the video ‘Working and Living in Croatia’ which the company created.

At their headquarters in Sveta Nedelja, there are around 100 employees from 35 different countries around the world and Rimac wanted to show what the world what Croatia is about and what makes it special.

Knowing that moving to live and work in Croatia is a bold decision, Rimac asked a number of their foreign employees how they find life and work in Croatia.
