ZAGREB, 29 June 2022 – Legendary hard rock band Whitesnake have been forced to cancel a number of European concerts on their big world farewell tour, including one planned for Zagreb.

Whitesnake and their special guests Steel Panther where set to play on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Šalata Stadium in Zagreb, but with singer David Coverdale sick, they have cancelled.

“As previously reported, I am still under medical order to rest in bed and not sing for the next 5 days while recovering from a sinus infection. That time frame includes a performance in Zagreb this Saturday, July 2, so unfortunately we will have to cancel the Zagreb show,” said Coverdale, before adding.

“It’s very sad for us, especially for the members of our band who were supposed to perform in front of their audience. Michele Luppi, our “Italian stallion”, was looking forward to visiting Milan in front of his friends and family, and of course Dino Jelusić, the Pride of Croatia, who wanted to do his best for his hometown of Zagreb. We are sorry that the cancellations are necessary to heal and complete the rest of our tour. “

Refunds for the canceled Whitesnake concert start on Monday, July 4 and can be requested at the point of sale where the ticket was purchased.

Steel Panther at Tvornica Kulture on Saturday
