Vukovar Film Festival Opens in August

The premiere screening of French film – The Measure of a Man / “La loi du marche”, which helped actor Vincent Lindon win the Best Actor Award at Cannes, will be the main attraction of this year’s Vukovar Film Festival…
The Vukovar Film Festival will be held in Vukovar from 24 – 29 August and will be opened with German film “As We Were Dreaming” / “Als wir traumten” which was screened in the main competition section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival.
The Measure of a Man, directed by Stephane Brize, is about a 51 year-old man living on social welfare benefits who is unsuccessfully looking for work while at the same time trying to be a good husband and father.
