[VIDEO] Vatra Clean Up at Croatian Music Awards

vatra01The 22nd Porin Music Awards, Croatia’s version of the Grammy’s, were held on Friday night in Split….

The night belonged to rock group Vatra (pic above) from Virovitica who won the Song of the Year Award for their smash hit ‘Tango’, as well as winning Best Vocal Performance by a Group, Best Recording and Best Production of the Year. Psihomodo Pop won the Porin for Best Album and Best Rock Album of the Year for ‘Ćiribu ćiriba‘, and also for Best Video of the Year for ‘Baby’.

Best Vocal Cooperation went to Gretta feat. Geby for ‘Malena’, whilst Detour’s ‘Što ak’ ja’ won Pop Album of the Year. Best Male Vocal was won by Massimo for ‘Ispod nekog drugog neba’, whilst Sara Renar won Best Female Vocal for he song ‘Jesen’. Klapa Kampaneli’s ‘Sva ti duša u me stala’ won the Porin for Best Klapa Album of the Year, whilst Urban&4 took out the Best Alternative Album of the Year. (photo / Nives Celio-Cega)
