Situated in the Dalmatian Hinterland on the northern side of Biokovo, Red Lake in Imostki, which is the third largest sinkhole in the world, has been attracting adrenaline daredevils recently.
Last month French cave diver Frederic Swierczynski became the first person in the world to dive to the bottom of Red Lake. Swierczynski touched the bottom on the Red Lake at a depth of 245 metres in a dive that took around 4 hours to complete.
Now some brave Austrian – Florian Zoller, Julian Mitteraier, Francisco Crespo, Oliver Ross, Qvirin Herterich and Theresa Weber – slacklined 110 metres on a 2.5-inch wire across Red Lake at a height of 280 metres.
