VIDEO: Plitvice Valleys gets a new tourism promo video

This summer, hundreds of thousands of tourists will again converge on Plitvice Lakes to experience one of the most beautiful wonders of nature, and many of them get to Plitvice via Rakovica – the northern entrance to the National Park known as the Plitvice Valleys.

With the aim of bringing the region closer to visitors from all over the world, the Rakovica Municipal Tourist Board has created a dynamic new promo video that unites all the beauties of this destination, as well as the people who make up a part of its offer every day. 

Did you know that in the vicinity of Plitvice you can ride a horse, a bicycle, explore the underground world, socialise with wildlife, enjoy adrenaline sports and domestic food, visit historic attractions and the Korana river and enjoy excellent accommodation facilities? All this is located in this beautiful place that has become a tourist mecca for years.

“With this promotional film, we have rounded up our promotional activities and we start with an even stronger branding of the Plitvice Valleys destination as an inevitable stop on the way to Plitvice Lakes where it is worth not only to stop by but to stay. Guests are increasingly recognising this, and for many years we have been the most popular destination in Karlovac County for the number of visits and overnight stays, all because we work tirelessly on the content and quality that we have highlighted in this film,” said Tourist board director Mira Špoljarić.
