Over the last few years Advent in Zagreb has become an important part of Zagreb’s tourism calendar. Last year 56,000 tourists visited Advent in Zagreb, 21% more than the previous year.

With diverse market stalls, the largest ice skating rink in the region, concerts, dance performances and a host of other activities, it is not hard to see why travellers voted for the Croatian capital.

This year Advent in Zagreb will run until 10 January. Check out how Zagreb’s main Ban Josip Jelačić square and Zrinjevac Park look from the air in this stunning 1-minute clip which has been uploaded to YouTube.
