[VIDEO] Croat Wins Shot Put Gold at European U23 Championships

Croatian Filip Mihaljević has won the shot put gold medal at the European Athletics U23 Championships which was held over the weekend in Tallinn, Estonia.

Mihaljević won gold after throwing 19.35 metres in his last throw of the competition. Mihaljević was in 6th place going into the last round of throws and came up with a powerful throw win the event. In second place was Luxembourg’s Bob Bertemes with a best throw of 19.29 metres, and Poland’s Andrzej Regin with 19.05 metres.
