UEFA Europa League Wins for Hajduk Split & Rijeka

Hajduk Split outclassed Irish side Dundalk FC 2-0 in Dublin thanks to goals from Mijo Caktaš and 16-year debutant Nikola Vlašić. Vlašić, who is the younger brother of famous Croatian high-jumper Blanka Vlašić, entered the history books as the club’s youngest debutant and goal scorer. Meanwhile, Rijeka scored a narrow 1-0 vicotry at home against Hungarian side Ferencvaros, and RNK Split beat Israeli side Hapoel Beer-Sheva 2-1 in Split. The return legs will be played next Thursday.
