The jubilee 5th Croatian World Games will be held in Zagreb from July 24th to 29th, organised by the Croatian World Congress and Organisers Without Borders.

This is an amateur sports competition in which Croats and their descendants from all over the world participate, representing the country they live in.

The goal of the Games is to connect young Croats outside of Croatia through sports and cultural gatherings, and to encourage them to cultivate their Croatian identity, return to their homeland, and make future economic investments in Croatia.

The Games have been held so far in 2006 and 2010 in Zadar, and in 2014 and 2017 in Zagreb.

This year’s jubilee 5th Croatian World Games will bring together over 900 competitors who will showcase their skills in ten sports, coming from 27 countries around the world. The competitions will take place on sports fields in Zagreb, and the participants will have accompanying entertaining and educational content with the aim of connecting with young people from Croatia.

Accommodation for the participants is provided at the Stjepan Radić Student Dormitory, where most of the programs will also take place. The opening ceremony of the Games will be on Tuesday, July 25th, at 8:30 PM at the Mladost Athletics Stadium.
