Live pigs and pork, including their meat, sperm, eggs and embryos, from Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and some parts of Latvia, are banned from being imported into Switzerland. Croatia’s Ministry of Agriculture denies that there are any cases of the African swine fever in Croatia, saying that the fever has never been detected in Croatia, and until now had not received any information from authorities in Switzerland regarding the ban.
