Summer Fesitval of Istrian Pršut to showcase world-class products from 19-21 July

TINJAN, 16 July 2019 – Istria’s finest pršut producers really do have a lot of present and so it is with pride that they will be showcasing their world class products at the Summer Fesitval of Istrian Pršut which starts later this week. 

The Summer Fesitval of Istrian Pršut, organised by the Tinjan Council and FIP, will take place from 19 – 21 July in Tinjan. 

The 3-day festival will see local pršut producers present their delicacies to visitors in Tinjan, which is home to the popular international pršut festival held every autumn. 

Istrian pršut producers who will present their products at the festival include: Pršuti Antolović, Pršutarna Dujmović, Pršutana Jelenić, Pršuti Milohanić, Pršuti Radetić, OPG Danijel Erman, OPG Franjul, Budak Pršuti, Compari Pršuti and Pršutarna Tomaso.  

Along with world-class pršut, there will be a chance to try cheeses from OPG Rober Fabris, OPG Orbanić Silvano and OPG Cetina Franko, olive oil from Milohanić, OPG Marčelo Rioža and OPG Pinezić Anđelo and honey from OPG Brečević and Vinko Dantinjana. There will be cakes also from Reginex d.o.o. 

Visitors will also be entertained by a music programme with live music from 8 pm until late every night.

Entry is free for all three days of the festival. The aim of the festival is to let visitors know the charms of central Istria and its life and discover all the beauty of Tinjan, which is known as the pršut town. Tourists call also enjoy the destination in the heart of the Istrian peninsula, hidden in the beauty of nature. 

In addition, the ISAP International Pršut Fair in Tinjan will take place from 18 to 20 October 2019.
