Split-based company developing technology for hospitals in Belgium

ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) – The Typeqast IT company, based in Split, is developing on-line technology for hospitals in Belgium that will track hospital inventory and in that way improve Belgium’s health system, the company said on Wednesday.

Talking to Hina, the company’s director, Marko Baric, said that Typeqast was cooperating with the Belgian Sensinx company on developing the “Smart Healthcare” platform for Belgium’s largest hospital, adding that talks were underway with an additional ten hospitals in the country and that the platform was aimed at facilitating inventory management.

“The project is currently being implemented and everything is being developed here in Split by a team of five employees… the Belgian hospital is one of the investors and it understands the obvious benefit of implementing this system,” Baric said.
