Sonus Festival: Island of Pag to host world techno and house stars

After a 2-year break caused by the global pandemic, one of the world’s best summer festivals chosen by visitors – Sonus – returns from August 21 to 26. 

Some of the world’s biggest stars of the techno and house scene will play on the island of Pag for 5 days and 5 nights. 

The return of legend Carl Cox, a special back 2 back tandem of Ricardo Villalobos and Zip, the first performance of Bulgarian live techno maestro KiNK, DJ set of world hit producer FISHER, a Brit who sets the world stage on fire with his sets – Michael Bibija, live performance by Giorgie Anguili or performance of techno duo 999999999 is set to attract a large number of fans.

The younger generation of techno performers will be presented by Anfise Letyago, Kobosil, Reinier Zonneveld (live) and IMOGEN.

Other stars announced for the ninth edition include Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Sven Väth, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriatti and Deborah de Luca, Loco Dice, Stephan Bodzin live, Chris Liebing, ANNA, Rødhåd, Ben Klock, Jamie Jones, Sonja Moonear, Richie Hawtin, Dixon and Seth Troxler.

Behind this unique festival, which gathers visitors from more than 65 countries every year, are the founders of the Sonus Festival and the owners of the We Love Sound event brand from Zagreb and the event brand Time Warp from Mannheim.

Known around the world as a summer underground festival, Sonus always gathers international fans of quality techno and house music, but also visitors who came to enjoy the beautiful Adriatic Sea, breathtaking landscape, beautiful beaches and local culinary specialties.

The festival will be held on Zrće beach in the clubs Noa, Papaya, Aquarius and Kalypso and like every year, festival-goers can expect boat parties which will be a unique musical experience and different from the clubs.
