Serena Williams Not Roughing it in Istria

The best female tennis player in the world, Serena Williams (33), is still in Croatia and having a great time, and by looking at her choice of accommodation it is easy to see why..
The world number one is currently staying at the luxurious Villa Sperone in the Istrian town of Novigrad, reports 24sata. The 2-story, 470 square metre villa, complete with jacuzzi and large summer terrace overlooking the Adriatic, will set back Williams 35,000 kuna a week (5,000 euros), a drop in the ocean for the 17-time Grand Slam winner. Williams is using the time in Croatia to both relax and has also been training in Umag, where the Croatia Open is due to start next week. (pic: Promo)
