Irish low-cost airline, Ryanair, has expanded operations at its hub in the Croatian city of Zadar.

Ryanair has announced the introduction of a new seasonal service connecting the southern Polish city of Katowice with Zadar.

Commencing on April 17, these flights will initially operate once per week, with frequency increasing to three times weekly starting from May 6.

This new route will complement the five previously announced routes by Ryanair from Zadar. As a result of these developments, Ryanair is projected to have a substantial 82.8% capacity share at Zadar Airport throughout the summer season, servicing a total of 51 destinations, Ex-Yu Aviation writes.

Back in February, the low-cost airline announced five new flights from Zagreb for this summer season. These include three new destinations in Spain – Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, and Girona, as well as one route each to France – Marseille and Italy.

In June, two new routes to destinations in Greece will be added.
