Croatian workers will have free access to the labour market in the UK
From 1 July 2018 Croatian workers will have free access to the labour market in the UK as restrictions will be lifted, the Croatian government announced in a press release on Monday.
British Prime Minister Theresa May has informed Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic of the decision in a letter, outlining that from 1 July 2018 restrictions which have been in place since 2013 in accordance with Croatia’s EU accession treaty will be lifted.

Croatian nationals will have the same rights of access to the UK labour market as other EU citizens from 1 July 2018. Reciprocally, Croatia will lift restrictions on British workers.
Croatian workers still have restrictions to the labour markets in three EU member states – Austria, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
