[PHOTO] Angelica Zacchigna Crowned Miss World Croatia 2016

22-year-old student Angelica Zacchigna from Novigrad in Istria has been crowned the new Miss World Croatia at a pageant last night in Šibenik…

Zacchigna, who is studying Jazz at the Academy of Music in Trieste, will represent Croatia at the Miss World pageant in Washington later this year.

“I am so happy, I have realised my childhood dream. I am proud of this win because all the girls who made the final were beautiful. I want to thank my family who have always been a great support for everything I do. I hope I represent my country in the US capital in the Miss World contest in a dignified way,” a happy Angelica said after her win.

17-year-old student Lucija Radolović from Osijek was first runner-up, whilst 22-year-old student Katarina Jurkin from Zagreb was second runner-up.
