[PHOTO] 3,000 Christmas Lanterns Set Off into Zagreb Skies

More than 10,000 people gathered in downtown Zagreb on Monday night for the traditional Christmas Lantern performance….

Thousands turned up to Zagreb’s Dolac to fly lanterns carrying their Christmas hopes and best wishes into the sky. More than 3,000 lanterns were set free into the calm Zagreb skies in what has become a pre-Christmas tradition in the Croatian capital. The performance, which also raises money for charity, is now in its 8th year.
