Original Friday the 13th Mask in a Safe in Zagreb

One of the ‘scariest’ collectors items in the world, the original mask worn by the killer from the cult horror film series Friday the 13th, is currently kept in a safe in the Croatian capital Zagreb…

Most people have heard of the American horror franchise that comprises of twelve slasher films, but not many people know that one of the prized props from the Friday the 13th film series is sitting in a safe in Zagreb. Zagreb local Dario Latinović (34) purchased the world-famous memorabilia from the films stunt coordinator.

“The man I bought the mask off is the famous actor and stuntman Dick Warlock. He played the character of maniacal killer Michael Myers in the second part of ‘Halloween’. For 25 years he was the personal double of Kurt Russell, and the stunt coordinator for Friday the 13th part 5, and he got the mask for a memory (of his work),” Latinović told daily Jutarnji list.
