One Croatian Firm Among World’s Largest 500 Family Firms

One Croatian business has been ranked amongst the World’s largest 500 family firms…
Retail and food giants Agrokor, which is the largest privately owned company in Croatia and one of the leading regional companies with almost 60,000 employees, was ranked 272nd in the Global Family Business Index. The report says that Agrokor, owned by the Todorić family, has annual revenues of 5.1 million USD. Agrokor own Croatian supermarket chain Konzum.
The Global Family Business Index comprises the largest 500 family firms around the globe. The index is compiled by the Center for Family Business at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland, in cooperation with EY’s Global Family Business Center of Excellence.
