New Year’s Eve: The musicians playing on main squares in cities across Croatia

Croatia welcomes in 2022 with scaled down outdoor celebrations

This year’s New Year countdown is right around the corner. Cities and towns around Croatia will be seeing in 2023 with concerts on main squares and various other entertainment programmes. 

Planned open-air celebrations will happen all around the country. 

ZAGREB

The New Year’s Eve program on the main square starts at 7 pm with DJ performances, followed by the performers from the TV shows A side and The Voice. 

Pips, Chips & Videoclips will then take to the stage, followed by Nipplepeople.

SPLIT

In Split on the Riva, Severina will be performing, as well as Vojko V. who will keep the crowd partying into the night. 

DUBROVNIK 

New Year’s Eve celebrations are part of the Dubrovnik Winter Festival. Ante Gelo and his band will first perform before a concert from the main attraction, Petar Grašo.  

PULA

Croatian singer Nina Badrić will be the main attraction in Pula.

OSIJEK

Crvena Jabuka will play in the eastern Croatian city on New Year’s Eve.

VUKOVAR

Legendary Croatian singer Mišo Kovač has been announced to play in Vukovar.

ZADAR

Black Coffee, Tonći Huljić & Madre Badessa and Klapa Rišpet will play in Zadar on the Advent stage on Petar Zoranic Square, whilst Forum will perform on People’s Square.  

RIJEKA 

Popular band Vatra will be performing on Korzo in Rijeka as well as Queen Real Tribute Band.

ŠIBENIK

The star of the show on New Year’s Eve n Šibenik will be famous Irish singer Róisín Murphy who will perform on the square at Cathedral of St. James.  

Meanwhile, Tony Cetinski will perform in Rovinj for New Year’s Eve 2023. The band Atomsko sklošte will take the stage with him. Neno Belan and Fiumens will play in Mali Lošinj.
