New Thai street food opens in Zagreb

For two years, lovers of Thai food would converge on Khaos Thai on Ibler Square in downtown Zagreb for their fix.

Much to the disappointment of its loyal customers, it closed down early this year. This week the smells of Thailand have returned to Ibler Square, near the entrance to Importanne Galerija with a new Thai street food joint. 

Thai chef Saralee Madnui, who operated Khaos Thai and quickly gained a reputation of cooking the most authentic Thai food in the Croatian capital, has opened Saralee’s Thai Street Food. 

Saralee’s Thai Steet Food has a varied menu, with soups, spring rolls, green and massaman curry, wok, pad Thai, Thai fried rice, and stir fries some of the offers.
