On the occasion of the beginning of the European Mobility Week, which runs until September 22nd, the mayor of Zagreb, Tomislav Tomašević, along with deputy mayors Danijela Dolenec and Luka Korlaet, today inaugurated a new pedestrian zone in downtown Zagreb.

The new zone is in part of Masarykova Street, stretching from Gundulićeva to Teslina, and in a section of Preradovićeva Street in downtown Zagreb.

The mayor emphasised that the establishment of this pedestrian zone is another step towards returning the city to pedestrians, following the establishment of pedestrian zones in Mala Martićeva and Stara Vlaška.
