NBA-Bound Mario Hezonja Makes History in Spain

mhNBA-bound Croatian basketballer Mario Hezonja has made ACB league history in Spain this weekend…

The 20-year-old, who will enter this year’s NBA Draft, become the youngest player in the history to score 18 points in a final.

The 6ft-8in FC Barcelona SG broke the previous record set by Ricky Rubio of 14 points. Before Rubio, the most points ever scored in a final of the ACB league was 13 points. Hezonja’s heroics, who is tipped for a big career in the States, could not prevent Barcelona from going down to 72:78 to rivals Madrid.
