Modric Jets In From Madrid To Watch Dinamo Zagreb Thrash Rijeka

His Real Madrid side were taking on Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabeu, but suspended Croatian midfielder Luka Modric decided to jet in and watch his former club Dinamo Zagreb trash Rijeka 4-1 at Zagreb’s Maksimir stadium instead.

Modric had earned himself a suspension after accumulating too many yellow cards and was not available for selection for Jose Mourinho’s side. Modric jetted into Zagreb and was at Maksimir stadium with former Dinamo and Aston Villa stiker Bosko Balaban. Dinamo’s victory extended their lead to 8 points in the Croatian first division.
