Massive Dining Table in Dubrovnik Marks End of Tourist Season

The annual Dubrovnik gastro event – Dubrovačka trpeza (Dubrovnik Table) – which marks the end of the tourists season – has taken place on Sunday 22 October 2017.
Once again a large number of local hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and vineyards took part in the event supplying treats and culinary delights on a dining table, close to 200-metres-long, laid out on the limestone-paved main pedestrian main street of Dubrovnik – Stradun.

A large number of people turned up today and they had the opportunity to purchase food at symbolic prices – 30 kuna for a portion of food and 15 kuna for a beer, wine or juice – with all money raised again going to charity.
