Manu Chao to Donate Money to Children’s Hospital in Croatia

Cult French-born Spanish singer Manu Chao will donate part of the proceeds from his upcoming Croatian concert to a children’s hospital in the capital Zagreb.
Chao, who has had considerable success, particularly in Europe, firstly with his band Mano Negra and then as a solo artist, will donate revenue from the sale of t-shirts and other memorabilia to help the children’s hospital raise money to purchase a hematology analyzer used to analyze blood and properly diagnose disease. The hospital needs around 18,000 for the machine. It is not the first time Chao has given money to hospitals in Croatia. After his concert in Zagreb two years ago Chao donated to the Rijeka Hospital. Chao plays at the Velesajam in Zagreb on 12 September.
