ZAGREB, 11 November 2025 – English pop icon Kim Wilde has announced a concert in Zagreb next spring.
The star, known for timeless hits such as “Kids in America”, “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” and “Cambodia”, will perform at Tvornica kulture on Friday, 8 May 2026.
A defining voice of the 1980s, Kim Wilde remains one of the most successful British pop artists of her generation. Her debut single “Kids in America” (1981) became an instant classic, reaching No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and landing in the top five across Germany, France and Australia.
The track, together with hits like “Chequered Love” and “Water on Glass” from her debut album Kim Wilde, established her as a global star.
Her follow-up albums, Select (1982) and Catch as Catch Can (1983), produced further memorable singles including “Cambodia” and “View From a Bridge”.
After signing with MCA Records, Wilde went on to release five more albums throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including Teases and Dares (1984), Another Step (1986), Close (1988), Love Is (1992) and Now and Forever (1995).
Her version of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” topped the US Billboard Hot 100, making her the fifth British female solo artist to reach No. 1 in America.
During her illustrious career, Kim Wilde has toured with global superstars including David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Paul Young, and achieved enduring popularity across Europe, Japan and Australia. Her collaboration with German pop legend Nena on “Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime” became another fan favourite.
Still active and creative, Wilde released her fifteenth studio album Closer this year, following the success of Here Come The Aliens (2018). Known for her energy, style and unmistakable stage presence, she continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
