Jimi Hendrix Becomes 3rd Icon at Zagreb’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Park

Jimi_HendrixStautes of former The Clash legend Joe Strummer and John Lennon in Zagreb’s Rock ‘n’ Roll themed park in the capital Zagreb got some company last week when a statue of music icon Jimi Hendrix was unveiled…

“The themed park is the brilliant idea of music lover Dražen Goreta. I suggested Lennon because the Beatles were my idols and they made their mark on the world, and Hendrix as a guitar giant has imposed himself,” said the author of the statue Boris Leiner to Vecernji list, adding that he would love to continue to produce statues for the park as the number of icons increase as it is a great promotion for Zagreb’s tourism and culture.
