Irresistible Croatia – 110kg Catalogue To Go Into Guinness Book Of Records

A Croatian catalogue is set to make its way into the Guinness Book of Records for being the largest of its kind in the world.

“Irresistible Croatia”, which weighs 110 kilograms, is 170 centimetres tall, 130 centimetres wide with over 800 square metres of paper, features information about Croatia’s culture, economy and tourism from local experts, accompanied by a host of top class photographs showcasing Croatia’s natural and historical beauties.

“The idea for the largest catalogue in the world came about after we recognised the huge promotion potential for Croatia which the Guinness World Record brings. I contacted their headquarters in London and got consent to create the largest catalogue in the world,” said author Suncana Matic.

“Irresistible Croatia” will be presented next Wednesday in the small Croatian town on Nin. Currently the world record is held by a German edition, which it has held for 10 years, but Matic’s team of 30 are set to replace them in the Guinness Book of Records this autumn.
