Halilović posted a photo of his injured knee on popular social network Instagram, saying that he would be out of action for a few weeks but he would come back stronger. The post upset Halilović’s bosses, especially Barcelona B boss Jordi Vinyals.
“He is injured and we will publish details about the state of his injury, but in future anybody announcing information without the club’s knowledge will be punished. I do not like when my players pass on information. This is the first, but the last time, it will not happen again,” said Vinyals.
Halilović has made 16 appearances for Barcelona B this season, scoring 3 goals. He also made his debut for the Barcelona first team in the Spanish King’s Cup.
