Heat Records Could Fall this Week – 40° + Coming

JM1The met office has warned that record temperatures could hit Croatia at the end of this week…

From Monday temperatures are set to rise slowly daily until the end of the week when temperatures could pass 40°C.
“From Thursday until the end of the week it will be sunny and calm. Temperatures will rise daily until the end of the week which temperatures up to 39°C, and possibly 40°C for parts of Zagorje and the Neretva valley. Mornings will also be very hot, especially on the weekend,” said Crometeo.

Health officials advise to keep out of the sun during peak hours, avoid heavy clothing and to drink plenty of fluids.
