Hajduk Split football club have sacked their coach Miso Krsticevic , sports director Sergije Kresic and consultant Fredi Fiorentini just one day after the club went down 1-2 at home to rivals Rijeka.
“I want to thank the coach for everything he done at the club. He kept his position for 14 months, longer than a lot of former coaches. Krsticevic done a lot of good things, but we have found ourselves in a position where qualifying for Europe is in jeopardy,” said Hajduk President Marin Babic about the sacking.
Current Croatia assistant coach and former Juventus player Igor Tudor has been named as Krsticevic’s replacement. Hajduk Split are currently in 4th equal spot with cross-town neighbours Split in the league.
