German Football Legend to Coach Kids in Croatia for Free

Lothar Matthäus in Croatia to coach kids next week

German football legend Lothar Matthäus will be in Croatia next week where he will hold a coaching day free of charge for kids.

Matthäus, who captained West Germany to victory in the 1990 FIFA World Cup and is a former European Footballer of the Year, will hold a free workshop for kids on the Dalmatian coast at Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala near Zadar.

Those kids interested in taking part do not have to go through any complicated registration process as there are only two requirements – to be at the ground and to be the appropriate age – a kid or teenager.

Matthäus was capped 150 times for Germany and played from 1980 to 2000, scoring 23 goals. He is a one-time World Cup winner and two-time runner-up.
