Former Croatian International Signs For Split After Decade Abroad

Former Croatian international and Hajduk Split striker Mate Bilic has signed for rival Split club RNK Split after 10 years playing abroad.

Bilic returns to the city of Split after spending the last ten years in Spain, playing with Zaragoza, Cordoba, and recently Sporting Gijon. Bilic has represented Croatia 7 times, netting 3 times. It was reported recently that Bilic, who had expressed an interest in returning home, was being targeted by both Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split.
