First International Seaplane Flight Takes Off From Rijeka

The first international sea plane connection from Rijeka has started today…

European Coastal Airlines’ sea planes have begun flying from Rijeka Airport on the island of Krk to the central Italian seaport city of Ancona. ECA will fly between the two destinations every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flights, which leave Rijeka at 9:22 and return from Ancona at 13:00, take 49 minutes and cost from 71 euros one way. The first flight was scheduled for Friday, but due to thick fog it was cancelled.

Besides Rijeka, ECA have also begun flights to and from Split to Ancona.
