For the first time in Hajduk Split football club’s history it has a female president…

Newly elected President of the Board, Marijana Bošnjak, was presented to the press on Tuesday, April 12 at Hajduk Split’s Poljud stadium. Bošnjak will be in charge at the club for the next 45 days whilst the club seeks a permanent replacement.

“I was surprised by the invitation of Hajduk, it is a great honour and responsibility. My main task is to work on a project, to analyze the current position of Hajduk, its potential and resources that can be used for further development of the Club,” Bošnjak said.

Bošnjak, a management consultant from Osijek, says all her focus will be on Hajduk Split.

“It is a demanding and extensive job and 40 days in really not much time for it. It is crucial to prepare a proper base for the club’s future. In the next 45 days, Hajduk is my only and absolute priority,” she said.
