First Croatian electric scooter ‘Rolla’ presented

ZAGREB, 30 April (Hina) – The Zagreb-based startup company Iddi LCC on Thursday presented the first Croatian electric scooter Rolla and the supporting charging station and application.

The application serves to provide only rental services to the market, mainly in tourist resorts.

The startup has been granted HRK 700,000 by the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) to implement this idea about the electric scooter Rolla for rental.

The company’s director-general Ivan Šimatović said that this type of scooter has a turn signal, a stronger engine and battery, and can cover 50 kilometres on single charge.

Currently, the company has rental deals with two tourist resorts near Plitvice Lake National Park and a tourist resort near Kamenjak Park in Istria.

The founders of Iddi are a group of 7 young enthusiasts who have knowledge in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and related fields.
