Enrique Iglesias concert in Croatia cancelled

ZAGREB, 18 November 2019 – Popular Spanish pop singer Enrique Iglesias has cancelled his concert in Croatia scheduled for 1 December.

Iglesias was due to perform at Arena Zagreb during his “All the hits Live” tour, but after “non-compliance with the terms of the contract between the promoter and the artist’s agency”, the artist’s representatives were forced to cancel the concert, Bilesu Serviss reported.

‘Sadly and regrettably, after much careful consideration, and exhausting all possible alternatives, we have been forced to cancel the upcoming shows in Zagreb, Riga, and Minsk. ArtBG, the concert tour promoter, producer, and event organizer, have not complied nor fulfilled their contractual obligations with the venues and all production elements for these three events. All of this makes it impossible to put on the show that our fans deserve. Safety for our fans and crew is paramount and we cannot guarantee this for everyone without the promoter fulfilling their obligations. It is simply too big of a risk. Our fans are sacred to us and it is painful to have to do this. We hope to find new dates in the near future. Together, with vendors and venues, we are devoted to make the responsible party, ArtBG, held responsible for their actions,” read an official announcement from the EI team.

The last time Iglesias performed in the Croatian capital was back in 2016 on his birthday.

“My favourite birthday present was my performance in Croatia. It was unbelievable, it was really cool. 18,000 people came,” he said in a video he posted on his Facebook page.
